Social media networks have important part in information and communication technologies which provide environments for individuals to express themselves efficiently and share their ideas. It is indicated that one of most significant effects of Facebook on interactions between individuals is to make them start obtaining a new communication type which is based on showing, watching and being watched and as a result the transformation of their understanding of privacy. This study aims to reveal the effects of photography and location sharing on Facebook and their perceptions of Facebook on privacy related concerns. In this paper, Facebook related works in the literature will be examined in terms of Facebook and privacy and it will be tried to draw a picture of the transformation in understanding of privacy of individuals.
