A series of exhibitions and activities which are organized in a single program or periodically organized in a specific program, such as art, culture, science, economic activity, product, period or a particular theme, whose qualities, such as the period, place of construction, theme, number of participants, Festival is called. As in all artistic events, festivals are also based on religious causes. With the passage of time, the contents of the festivals as well as the influences have transformed. It has become an important part of social, economic and cultural life and has evolved from one of the most important promotional tools reflecting the cultural heritage of the region in which it is organized. These activities, which have social and cultural interaction as well as effects on the economic development of the regions where they are organized, are also important components of cultural heritage formation. As it is known, cultural heritage is a generic name given to works that were created by previous generations and believed to have universal values. Festivals are also important activities to be used in the formation of universal values and in transmission of generations. The theme of the work is to emphasize the importance of festivals and the effects of cultural heritage formation. The aim of the study is to make the festival organized every year in Fethiye Music Village with the method of interview and document analysis, to draw attention to create the cultural heritage, to raise awareness and to make suggestions for evaluating this festival as social, cultural and economical appeal.
