Cemal Süreya is one of the prominent representatives of the Second New poetry movement. Üvercinka, which named the first book of the poet and is one of the most famous poems of him, carries some traces from Cemal Süreya in addition to the general characteristics of the Second New. In the poem, there is a relationship between the self addressing and the woman (beloved) addressed and some meanings attributed to it. In this context, in the poem,it was aimed to give depth to the love and sexuality accompanied by political and social references. At the same time, social reality is sought on a poetic plane. On the one hand, with the Laleli district and on the other hand with all other land piecesa universal spacedefines the boundaries of the poem. The woman addressed in the poem is described as an important partner who can overcome the difficulties of life and is presented as a multi-dimensional resistance element with this feature. So much so that the experiences mentioned between the speaking self and the calling subject;it is conveyed with an encompassing enthusiastic enthusiasm. In addition, the woman who marks the idealized world represents both timidity and freedom as a poetic object. It is obvious that this understanding of freedom tries to validate itself by opposing both power and religious thought. In this sense, the poem tries to provide aesthetic value to a large extent through this relationship of contrast and passivity
