Literature journals, which hold the pulse of literary activities in countries, are among the important publication organs that set the ground for the formation of literary histories. For this reason, each of them should be carefully examined, and the data obtained should be evaluated in terms of their contribution to the history of literature. Yusufçuk, which continued its publication life between January 1979 and December 1980, is a monthly poetry magazine consisting of only 2 pages. It was published during the years of complex events and conflicts in Turkish society. It is natural that poetry, especially art, is adversely affected by this chaos in societies that continue the process of modernization in a painful way. Dragonfly begins its publication life in the years when the gaze of poetry is seriously dull and the aesthetic value of poetry decreases. Drawing attention with both his published poems and essays, criticisms, articles and introductory articles on poetry, it is understood that Yusufçuk created the agenda in the country at that time. It is seen that the magazine is followed with interest and curiosity in the literary world due to the citations it made from the works of well-known names of Turkish and world literature. The owner of the magazine, which was published as a total of 24 issues in the period between 1979 and 1980, is Ali Püsküllüo?lu and the responsible editor-in-chief Özcan Yal?m. It is understood that the magazine, which mainly featured the works of famous poets, displayed an attitude towards preventing Turkish poetry from being subordinated to politics. We believe that Yusufçuk, published in the painful period of Turkish society and understood to have contributed to Turkish poetry to a certain extent, should be studied carefully in the world of literature
