PROBLEMS ABOUT AREA RESEARCH IN FOLKLORE AND ON THE PASSING OF CULTURE TO FUTURE GENERATIONS AND A SOLUTION PROPOSAL

The 21st century has been the one that emerges at the top level of the speed of technological developments in the world and technology has been improved for the use of the people. Particularly, the communities have gained the opportunity to know the other communities in the world and to learn their the cultures owing to possibilities offered in the communication field. However, these beneficial developments for mankind and humanity to move towards uniformization in cultural sense has caused many different bad results such as exposure to extinction of cultural heritage. Folklore (folklore) identified as a science aims to record and to compile tangible and intangible cultural heritage of societies in the local. However, this branch of science that is the new by the history of 150 years needs more time to accomplish and to compile world cultural heritage. Folklore need to speed up the compilation process because of the slow progress of the method of classic compilation and the cultures devastating effects and speed of globalization. In this article, it has been maked a mention of utilization from tecnology that negatively affects the local cultural heritage in the studies of compilation as folklore and changing from the negative effect of technology to the positive one. Increase of use of social media in Turkey and the world is important in terms of both the compilation of the cultural heritage and transfer to the young generations. Web can be an suitable environment to write their own cultural heritages and share with other humans.
