With the most familiar description witnessed in the history of Islamic fiqh; the science of fiqh, which means “to know one’s rights and responsibilities in terms of deeds”; principles of worship, family law, criminal law, inheritance law, property law, foreigners law, etc. for fourteen centuries. It is a universal and divine legal system independent from human legal systems, whose originality has been accepted, which has been a just and equitable solution for Muslim and non-Muslim societies as well as in matters related to Islamic commercial law. In this context, in order for the students of the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences to learn the issues related to Islamic commercial law at a minimum level, the lecture notes named Fiqh Lessons-1, which was copyrighted by Prof. Dr. Orhan Çeker and whose 1st edition was published in 1984, turned into a book whose 11th edition was published in a long period of time. For this reason, we have evaluated the 9th edition of the book called Fiqh Lessons-1, which includes the topics and titles of the field, so that the students studying at the Faculties of Theology and Islamic Sciences can acquire a minimum level of information on Islamic commercial law without going into unnecessary details and explanations.
