The aim of the study is to reveal the perceptions and the sectoral expectations of the students in public relations and publicity departments. The universe of the study covers students from all classes who are studying in the Public Relations and Publicity Departments of Istanbul, Marmara, Kocaeli and Sakarya Universities, Faculty of Communication, located within the borders of the Marmara region and in state status. A total of 610 students participated to the research. Relational search model was used in the research. Survey form was used as data collection tool.There are differences among the students' perception classes for the profession. The students in the upper class are more concerned with the public than the lower classes, they say that their profession is not respected, their employees are not valued, and there are no job opportunities in the field.
