The branch of science that is taught as a compulsory course in the Faculties of Theology and Islamic Sciences and has an extremely important place and position in the hierarchy of religious sciences is undoubtedly the science of “Fiqh”. In such a way that the science of fiqh will undoubtedly continue to have this importance in the professional lives of students who graduate from the mentioned faculties and even throughout their lives. The textbook titled “Basic Fiqh Information” written by Prof. Dr. Sabri Erturhan covers “Islamic Law General Information, Constitutional Law, State, Personal Law,Family Law, Inheritance Law, Criminal Law, Trial Law, Law of Obligations, Types of Contracts and Property Law” in a short and concise manner. For this reason, we considered this work worthy of examination, since it covers the basic knowledge of fiqh, which students of the mentioned faculties should know at a minimum level without going into tedious and daunting details.
