According to Kierkegaard, the individual is away from his self and subjectivity in aesthetic stage. The aesthetic person who takes no responsibility lives for pleasure and delight only. According to him person didn’t have own in aesthetic stage. The aesthetic individual who cannot realize the existential truth wants to comfort himself with pleasure, enjoyment, game and amusement but cannot succeed. As a result of the pleasure he finds himself in a deep sorrow. In short, the aesthetic individual thinks that he rules over the entities and objects outside but is unable to see that this is actually nothing more than condemnation. In an era where people are voluntarily or involuntarily the slave of the object, Kierkegaard’s views about the aesthetic individual becomes more meaningful.
