Coronavirus disease appeared in China in 2019 and spread to the whole world in a short time. With this rapid spread, the outbreak has become a global health issue. With the outbreak, nurses not only experienced an increase in the intensity of their work, but also had to adapt to new protocols and a 'new norm. Nurses frequently started to provide end-of-life care and became the person who met all the needs of patients who did not share the same environment with anyone, including their families. Nurses who have been in close contact with the patients and provide care have given various psychological responses to this process. The purpose of this review is to examine the psychological effects of the coronavirus epidemic on nurses.
