Nowadays, with the awareness of people, interest in functional foods is increasing. Especially with the development of technology, foods that are more beneficial in terms of health emerge by adding functionality to foods. In this study, it is aimed to raise awareness of the concept of purple bread, which has recently become popular. In the study, the concept of purple bread was discussed and information was given about the content and health benefits of purple bread prepared using mormix. In addition, purple bread production stages were carried out. Mormix is a powdered mixture of anthocyanin compounds found in purple and red pigmented fruits and vegetables. Mormix used in bread and other bakery products adds functionality to foods. In this context, a study has been planned to increase the awareness of purple bread as a very important product for human health and to raise awareness on this issue.
