This study deals with the relationship between reality, language, manipulation and media. Meida and in particular the “advertising industry” using language, slogans and images to transform us into a different “meaning” and meaninglessness and as a consequent into Trumans in the reality of “simulation” Disneyland. Media does this, of course by using subconscious/subliminal techniques aiming at human instincts such as sexuality, death, fear, etc., and also by manipulating us by using the 25th frame that perceived subconsciously, eventhough they are not perceptible on consciousness level and metaphors and metonyms and the propositions that we can not refuse and with using images that dictates certainities. In this study, the humanistic and social consequences of the above mentioned relationship between reality, language, manipulation and media and media manipulation will be discussed by making use of the School of Frankfurt's criticism towards culture industry and from movies about media like Truman Show.
