Mahmut Yesari, one of the artists of the Republican era, is one of the important writers known in our literary history through his novels, stories and theater. On the other hand, Yesari, a versatile and productive writer, is widely known in the world of literature as a novelist, and his theater writer and storytelling are not much emphasized. As a result of this, Mahmut Yesari's writing adventure has not been assessed holistically, and studies about him have been limited. The purpose of this article is to bring the forgotten author Mahmut Yesârî to the stage of literature again in the context of his works, taking into account the importance of monographic studies in the study of literary history. In this article, the biography, personality, artist identity, novel author, storytelling and theater writer of Mahmut Yesârî will be examined. In addition the remarkable works of the author will be evaluated in terms of the importance, subject and theme in the history of literature.
