The social and political structure of each era determines the character of the art works of its era. Disciplines such as architecture, fashion, painting and sculpture also affect each other under the influence of the period in which they were produced. Preparing the groundwork for the formation of the Renaissance, which can be expressed as a turning point in the history of art, Gothic art influenced every segment of the society and shaped many elements from clothing to the understanding of space. Architecture and fashion, two disciplines that meet the shelter and covering needs of human beings, constitute the scope of this study. Gothic art, as a style that influences artists today, has also inspired Chinese fashion designer Guo Pei's designs. The aim of the study is to examine the reflection of the architectural form in Guo Pei’s 2018/2019 Autumn / Winter collection, which is the most distinctive expression of the Gothic style influenced by scholastic philosophy.
