In old times, before the firearms were produced, the most common weapon used in wars is undoubtedly the sword. It makes it important that it is robust, is low possibility of being surprised its goal and the most effective tool used in battles against chest. Apart from that, the use of it sworn in the ceremonies show his holiness. The concept of sword contributed to the enrichment of poetry by adding various meanings to the poems of Classical Turkish literature in the sense of literal or metaphorical meaning. Like Ahmadi , Sheikh Galip and Nefi, Baki also had subject sword to his poems in the sense of literally or metaphorically. Baki, the well-known poet of the 16th century, was also referred to as queen of poets and, with his unique style, with succeeded in using the prosody prosody had signed for the century.In his poems, the poet, who gave joy and enthusiasm rather than suffering and suffering, frequently referred to the sermons and entertainment assemblies. Baki usually had used literally the concept of sword in his parasites, gave more space to metaphor in his ghazals and musamies. Metaphorically with lover’s beauty elements and so on has established a relationship.In this study, about Baki Divan that prepared by Sabahattin Küçük has been used. Also in the content of the study; the relationship in between the beauty elements of the beloved and sword, the shape of the sword, its relation to the religious-historical-mythical heroes, its construction, its decoration, its raw material, its functions,its used with abstract concepts and with the words used together will be give place to related couplet. In the study, all the couplets related to the sword in the divan were given the study.
