Mostly seen as a result of an attempt to capture a new sound, regionality has been a current (movement), the effects of which has been seen in divan poetry as of the fifteenth century. Necati gives the first examples of this current (movemont) emerging in the form of spreading of the social life and physical-spiritual, cultural values of society to the poetry. Maintaining its influence in later centuries, too, interest in regionality reaches the peak with Nedim in the eighteenth century. From sixteenth century poets, Ravzî also is a name that has carried various frames of daily life to his poems with a good power of observation under the influence of regionality. It can be said that the Divan of Ravzî with this aspect has been a good example of the use of native (regional) elements. In this study, the Divan of Ravzî has been assessed in terms of regionality and the determined elements have been handled by giving examples from the poems under the titles.
