Relics, in which there exists a small part of a cross or anything important for the Christian belief, have been widely used during Byzantium Empire. Relics may either be made of metals used for the necklace or stone or marble. They have been made either in the form of natural objects as lamp, tree, book or in the shape of head, finger, hand and foot. In this study, we aim at presenting the relics with the shape of cross made of metal or sarcophagus in Giresun Museum. These relics on which no scientific study has been carried out, have been measured and defined. These relics have also been photographed and the decorations and figures on them been defined. These relics were also be compared to other samples and their dates had been tried to be determined. The relics in Giresun Museum have been examined in detail regarding the materials used and the technical features.
