RESEARCH OF STUDENTS’ ENTREPRENEURSHIP TENDENCIES: SAMPLE OF SİNOP UNIVERSITY - BOYABAT CAMPUS

Entrepreneurship has become a stimulating factor for economic growth and develeopment. It is also a significant factor for increasing employment and social development. Concept of entrepreneurship, which has a strategic significance for developing economies, has becoming important on searching the ways of getting more profit, creating new employment opportunities and making resources more active areas. Entrepreneurship is one of the most discussed topics in the literature and there are many theoretical and applied studies on this subject. At this point of view, the aim of this study is to determine the entrepreneurship tendency of vocational high school students who are assumed to be potential entrepreneurs. In this study, the concept of entrepreneur and entrepreneurship were explained and a survey was conducted on Sinop University – Boyabat Campus (Boyabat Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences and Boyabat Vocational College) students. According to the statistical analysis which are obtained from the survey, Boyabat Vocational High School students have etrepreneurship tendency.
