Many researhes have been carried out to find out the quality of life, to increase the the life satifaction and to find answers to the questions about the values that make our lives meaningful. Such researches have become the center of interest of the social sciences. The aim of this study is to examine the level of life satisfaction of individuals who exersize regularly. Our research was conducted on 106 members (66 male and 40 female) of a private health club that operates in Istanbul. Participation of this research is on volunteer basis. Test subjects was determined by random sampling method. In this study, demographic variables information form that the researcher deveolped, and the satisfaction with life scale (SWLS) that was developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen ve Griffin (1985) have been used. The analysis of data was done by using SPSS programs (T-test and univariate analysis of variance). Meaningfulness level was accepted as p < 0.05. According to the outcome data of this research, there is no significant difference between the life satisfaction levels of the individuals who exersize regularly and the variables of sex, number of children, frequency of doing sports and height, but on the other hand, there is a significant difference between the life satisfaction levels of individuals who exersize regularly and the age, marital status, most recently graduated educational institution, years of work and weight variables.
