Siberia is one of the oldest and most important historical and cultural treasures of the main quarries of Turkey. Since its inception nearly four centuries varied with live under the rule of the Turkish community in the Russian language, culture, and life styles in many regions of Siberia continues to represent the Turks. It is known that there is not sufficient study on Siberia and Siberian Turks around Turkish scientific communities. This study was conducted with the aim of guiding and giving a general idea about Russian studies in Tsarist era to those who will do the research on Siberia in the fields of history, geography, ethnography, language, faith and culture. The history of Khanate of Sibir, the Russian’s seizure of Siberia, Russian sources of Siberian history, and some research works on Siberia in 18th and 19th centuries have been introduced with a brief citation and contents.
