Every single day, from different countries, we educationalists, witness so much violence caused by rapid changes in the global village where world wide information is transferred all around through internet and the media. In that sense, schools are seen the most dynamic and complicated places where those foresighted and/or unforesighted changes appear. In this study, the reasons of violence in schools have been discussed by analyzing the situations events published in six different newspapers Cumhuriyet, Halka ve Olaylara Tercüman, Hürriyet, Milliyet, Sabah and Zaman which reflect different ideologies.
