The research group of this study which aims to examine the effects of yönlü self-control indeki on university students who will play important roles in the development of our country, which has a significant positive / negative effect on physiological and psychological health, refers to the balance in the inner world of human and thus can be associated with happiness. In the fall semester of the 2019 academic year, a total of 220 students (88 (40%) female and 132 (60%) male) were selected by random sampling from Yozgat Bozok University. The data obtained by using “Personal Information Form” and “Self-Control Scale frekans were used in the SPSS program for frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation; After one sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov analysis data were not normally distributed, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H analyzes were performed with the significance level p <0.05 and the following results were obtained: The overall self-control of the sample was moderate; Self-regulation has a negative effect on daily engagement time with communication tools, positive meaningful difference on the level of finding life meaningful and taking religious reference in life; gender, geographical region and place of residence did not reach the significance level of the difference between variables
