Al-Âmidî is known as Seyfüddin Ali b. Muhammad al-Amidi was born in Diyarbekir in 551/1156 and died in 631/1233 in Damascus. Al-Âmidî is known for his works in kalam, fiqh method, philosophy and logic fields. Al-Âmidî's book Ebkârü'l-Efkâr fî Usûli'd-Dîn is an important and voluminous work on the wisdom of kalâm. Al-Âmidî put forward his methodological conception of hadith and tradition under the heading of "Sunnah" of the fiqh method of al-ihkâm fî Usûl al-Ahkâm. Al-Âmidî, Ebkârü'l-Efkâr fî Usuli'd-Dîn, the book of kalam, under the title of ‘proof of Hz Muhammad's prophecy’, he gives examples of rhetorical proofs, miracles, Qur'?n, sensational miracles, and traditions when he explains, too.
