Mustafa Sabri Efendi was born in Tokat. He studied classical Islamic science as a child in Tokat then he received further instruction in Kayseri and ?stanbul. He was obtained as a lecturer, imam, Muhatab of the Huzur Dersleri, Haf?z-? kutub. Then he was appointed as professor of Hadith in an advanced school. Apart from these, he was been in various tasks and positions in the different institutions and organizations. Mustafa Sabri Efendi, was elected to Meclis-i Mebûsan from Tokat after declaration of the Second Constitution. After the Bab-i Ali Raid, he had to flee ?stanbul. While he was Sheikhulislam, he was against the National Resistance. Upon the success of the National Resistance, he left the country with some family members and moved to Egypt in 1922. In 1927, he was devised of his Turkish citizenship with his son ?brahim (d. 1983). He never returned to Türkiye. He died in Egypt on 1954 and buried there. Mustafa Sabri started writing when he was yang old and remained productive writer until lite date his life. He published fourteen books, numerous original and translated articles in the various journals. In addition to he wrote numerous poems in Ottoman Turkish; such as Hakiki ?iirlerim, Mah?er, ?htiyarl???m, Menfî Dua ve Yar?n and Arabic languages. His Arabic poems such as Nûn, Dâd, Hâ’ ve Dâl Kaside are the basis of this article. Main objective of this article is to give information about M. Sabri Efendi’s life and his poems in Arabic language. The article is consisting of three chapters except of ?ntroduction and Conclusion. In the First chapter was given knowledge about Mustafa Sabri’s life and his books published and unpublished in Arabic and Ottoman Turkish. In the Second chapter, there is information about his poems in Arabic language. The evaluation of poems in different directions; words, structure, rhetoric and grammar violations/?iir zarurati was discussed in the third chapter. In the conclusion, was evaluated the information given in the article.
