In this case report; It is discussed that soc?al work ?ntervent?on applied for a girl neglected, abused and at risk, living with mentally d?sabled mother. This study focuses on the importance of intervening in the ecological system of children exposed to neglect and abuse or vulnerable to such risks before the occurrence of child traumatic life events and the necessity of monitoring the case after the social service intervention has been decided and implemented. In addition, additionally, to obtain valid and reliable data during the case evaluation process in order to decide on social work intervention in the best interest of the child, the importance of keeping the records of the institution in a single registration system for each client, the importance of the other tools needed by the social worker to decide the right intervention, and the limitations of the social workers and social services systems will be discussed.
