We prepared to work to contribute to the investigation of Bart?n’s local history and culture by examining the socio-economic and cultural structure of the Bart?n Newspaper, which began to be published weekly as a manuscript in 1924 and printed in printed form from the first thirty. When we examine the Bart?n Newspaper, we see that education, culture, health, economy and municipal news are predominantly included, as well as news about announcements, telegrams, horse races, refugees and forests. Apart from this, it is important to find the newspaper in special days and holidays. We come across as a separate detail where the literary stories are found in some weeks and the death reports are in some numbers. Bart?n Newspaper does not only include local history and cultural news but also news from the country. In our work, we focused on the news of 1924.
