In today's world, together with globalization, related concepts such as pluralism, multiculturalism, interculturalism, identity and difference; as important topics discussed in various dimensions in academic life. In particular, innovations in communication environments and technologies transform the world into a network society; while facilitating interaction between different cultures, it also brings the individual more active in terms of intercultural communication. In this study, using the Intercultural Effectiveness Scale developed by Portalla and Chen (2010); In the case of Konya, the level of culturally effective people was examined. It is given in the study on which the field survey method is based; it was collected by face-to-face survey technique from 406 participants. Research results; indicate that the intercultural competitiveness score of the participants is slightly above the middle level. As life satisfaction increases, the level of intercultural effectiveness also increases. Those who use foreign media more often have a higher level of intercultural effectiveness. Those who have the desire to live abroad also have a higher level of intercultural effectiveness than those who do not look positively at living abroad.
