The article aims to expose some reflections on the theories of Roland Barthes, referred to the concept of Intertextuality. Although the French critic has never proposed a specific intertextual theory, some of his writings focus on this concept by giving some ideas and interpretations that will be useful for the development of studies on the relations between texts. Starting from these texts centered on the relationship between Writer and Scribe, on the difference between Writable and Readable texts, the death of author and on Structural Activity, we intend to give an overview of the Barthian ideas on the intertextual relations.
