In rebuttal and ta’dil books, which were compiled in an attempt to determine the qualifications of reporters for reporting hadiths, a number of criticism words were used to characterize the reporters. Also, the levels of these words in hadith rijals were mentioned and they were listed according to certain criteria. As for the critic scholars, who place a reporter’s being ahl al-bid’ah to one of these levels, bid’ah is considered a cause of condemnation, in other words, one of the cases that obstruct justice. However, it is much-discussed whether it would damage the justice quality to carry the characteristics of siqa reporters and to actually be one from the ahl al -bid’ah. In this article, it will be determined whether ta’dil words were used except for the rebuttal words in the criticism against the reporters who are charged with being of ahl al-bid’ah, and if used the denotations of these words and their influence on the value of the reports. As well as pointing out the relativity of determining the quality of bid’ah and of describing someone as being a beginner, as the method of the study the reporters who are charged with being connected to a certain religious sect in rijal books will be referenced. However, there will not be any evaluation about whether the charging about the reporter is right or whether the reporters is really connected to that religious sect.
