This paper is about the relation between gender and space. For this purpose spatial behaviors related with gender are examined. The behaviors of woman and man in the locality are determined, the detected behavior differences are evaluated within communal gender concept. Dormitory rooms which are products of communal gender were selected as study area and the data obtained as a result of the applied survey study were evaluated. As a result of the conducted study it is observed that women and men, as a part of the community, consider locality with the roles fictionalized for them and that differences occur between genders at points such as making change in the locality, equipment preference and privacy.
