Feedback is an important part of the process in education. Feedback is given to students about their academic success through various methods. Verbal expression, report cards, giving a reward or punishment is some of them. It is a common way to make an exam and evaluate it with a grade and to announce them openly. In the literature, there are many researches about the effects of exam grades. However, there is a need for ways of providing this feedback, and in particular in case of open or exclusive announcement of exam grades. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the students' opinions regarding the application of open announcement of exam grades based on this problem. The study is a qualitative study. The study group consisted of 143 students studying at the Vocational School, Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Education in a public university. Data were collected with a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. As a result of the research, students' opinions were collected in 8 categories. In the research, the students' views of their notes as personal data, and the thought that the notes were used as a tool of pressure and mocking are the results of the research. In addition, most of the students are annoyed that the open - announcement of the exam results. Gender and educational status do not cause a significant difference in discourse.
