The teaching of efficiently use of electronic environments is the significant factor on individuals’ future success in being 1a literate. Education at schools is mostly executed through printed texts. However, skills and strategies have become essential together with the increase in use of given projects at school, smart boards and projectors. The students are not able to show conscious behaviours regarding the use of electronic environments. This study is needed because of the following reasons: the insufficient number of studies by GRRM for skill and strategy instruction and elemantary level reflective diaries; the studies on reflective thinking appear to be usually on teacher training and case study can not be realized. The research is a qualitative research and it is aimed to examine of elemantary fourth grade students’ reflective thinking activities in search-comprehension strategies on the internet which were instructed by the use of Gradual Release of Responsibility Model. The research was carried out on 10 people and the data were obtained with focus group discussion. According to the acquired findings; it is observed that commonly learned and used strategies in groups are as follow: searching, predicting, navigating and asking question strategies. It is found that expressions, self-assessment scores and strategy learning success in the diaries which students in low, medium and high groups assess themselves and convey their situations differantiate positively in a harmony with the groups.
