Access to qualified education is one of the most fundamental rights of Syrian children as well as every child. However, forced migration in Syria after the civil war occasion the education of Syrian children to be interrupted. For Syrian refugee children living in Turkey, education has an important role in overcoming many problems caused by war and forced migration. In this context, the aim of this study is detect the have problems in the process of integration of Syrian refugee children into the education system of our country. For this purpose, the research is designed in the qualitative research model. In-depth interview technique was used to collect the research data. In the analysis of the research data, descriptive analysis technique was used and the findings were determined according to specific themes. As a result of the research carried out at a primary school in Kilis, which is one of the closest points of our country to Syria, it is detected that the biggest problem encountered in the education of Syrian students is the mother tongue difference. The difference in language brings many problems, especially in the understanding of Turkish language, reading and writing, in the education of Syrian students. In addition, using the knowledge and experience of the class teachers interviewed within the scope of the research, other problem areas related to the education of Syrian refugee children (economic problems, psychological problems, cultural differences, absenteeism etc.) have been revealed.
