““TAHLIL” IN ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW

Tahlil” is one of the topics that misunderstood even abused in Islamic family law. This term defining as if pre-arranged marriage/divorce therefore using hulle term that derived from same origins. But hulle term not listed in classical fiqh resources and was used later periods. In this study we stress the nature and accrual of tahlil and the opinions of Madhhab scholars in this topic.
