The preferred teaching style determines the quality of both teacher and teaching-learning process. In general terms, style is a link between talent and personality; the preference of the individual to use his/her abilities is the way he/she prefers to use his/her knowledge and skills. Teaching styles are predominant preferences in teachers' attitudes and behaviors they exhibit in their interactions in teaching and learning with their students. Teaching styles of the individual constitute one of its important individual differences in terms of teaching. As a result of literature review, it is not possible to provide a comprehensive explanation of all teaching styles in the sources. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive explanation of all teaching style models in the sources. In the context of this compilation study, firstly, the concepts of teaching, style and teaching style are included. After mentioning the general factors affecting the use of teaching styles, the most common teaching style models in the literature were discussed and explained in detail. Studying the teaching styles in different sources within the context of a single study in the literature shows the originality of the study and it is hoped that this study will contribute to the field.
