TECHNOLOGICAL PROBLEMS OF THE UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE INDUSTRY ACCORDING TO THE OPERATING SCALE

The aim of this study is to examine the technological problems that operations which especially in Ankara and Kayseri provinces which are developed in Turkey's upholstered furniture industry have experienced according to the legal structures. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 55 randomly selected operations and with the observations made, the technological problems experienced by the operations have been determined. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the technological problems that operations have experienced according to the operating sizes are diff erent. According to this data, technological problems that operations have experienced in general, lack of barcoding system and lack of use of production tape system have been seen. As the operating scale shrinks, these problems have also been found to increase.
