In this research, the stages of development of the issue of territory during the negotiations in Cyprus have been addressed. In this context, the main purpose of this research is to display what the territorial regulations and the criteria in relation to this are in the talks held between the sides in Cyprus. Territorial regulations are an issue which the communities on the island sensitively put emphasis on. According to the perspective of the Greeks, the more Greeks return to their homes or the more Turks give territory, the population of the Greeks to be located in the prospective Turkish Federated State will be that much low and the resolution of the issue of migrants will become that much easier.
