Comparative literature is a systematic art which examines the similarity, effect and proximity of literary works of the same or different languages and cultures. Comparative studies have been made among Turkish literature, mainly Western Literature and Arabic Literature along with Persian literature. No Comparison studies have been done on Classical Turkish Poetry and Urdu Language and Literature, the basics of which had been constructed by Turks yet. This article attempts to make a comparison between an important figure of Urdu literature, Mirza Galib and one of the classical Turkish literature poets Ha?met’s odes on wine with rhyme. Two poet's life and format specifications of their poetry, issues and themes with language and style of speech have been compared, the similarities and differences have been identified, and it has been concluded that there are no interactions between the two poets and their poetry.
