The objective of the present study is to compare teachers’ family functions and their occupational performance levels. It is a quantitative research that was conducted with the teachers who were candidates of master degree in Educational Administration and Supervision department in Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. “Family Assessment Device”, “Occupational Performance Scale” and a questionnaire to obtain demographic information were utilized for gathering data. The relationships among communication, roles, emotional reactions, showing interest, behaviora control, problem solving and general functions, which were of teachers’ subscales of FamilyAssessment Device and teachers’ occupational performance levels were aimed to be determined. Some common grounds were detected among teachers’ demographical qualities, working conditions, family relations, number of children and their knowledge of childcare. All gathered data was analyzedvia SPSS 16.0 and a significant difference was found among variables such as communication, roles, emotional reactions, showing interest, behavioral control, problem solving, general functions and teachers’ occupational performance levels. It was also seen that while behavioral control and problem solving abilities are crucial variables for performance levels of the teachers; other variables have no significant difference.
