Muntecebuddîn al-Hemedânî (d. 643/1245) is one of the linguists who live in hijri VII. Century in the Damascus region and made a name in the field of Arabic language. He has trained students for many years in language sciences especially in Arabic morphology and syntax. In addition, she taught classes for a long time in the madrasah named at-Turbubutu’z-Zencîliyya in D?ma?k. al-Hemedânî left many works behind. His most famous and most voluminous work is the work named al-Farîd fî ?’râbi’l-Kur’âni'lMacîd. al-Farîd explain verses of the Quran in terms of glossary, syntax and morphology and contains quite extensive information about these sciences. This work is also lik a summary of the views of commentators, Qurrah and Arab grammarians. In this article, the content of al-Ferid and the method of explaining linguistic issues of the author are discussed. The content of the work is given under the titles of syntax, morphology, q?raat, vocabulary and dialects, and its method is explained under eight titles.
