The quality of instrumental and vocal sound is one of the basic dynamics that discriminate music kinds from each other. The quality of instrumental and vocal sound does shaped by the socio-cultural and physical context etc. of cultural community that creates and performs music. Although the aesthetics preference of community is an efficacious component, what the main determining component of this shaping progress is physical circumstances, such as, space that performance takes place and acoustical quality of orchestral sound. Aesthetics changes are a part of this process and the level of aesthetics changes will be determine by the needs of new situations created by the changes that occurred in physical circumstances. We can see the relation exists between vocal sound and physical circumstances in formant tuning techniques, that female opera singers begin to use at the beginning of nineteenth century, in order to adjust themselves to the new conditions that came into being in opera music in that years. In this study, on example of female opera singers, it will be claim that in researches about the vocal sound belong to a given music genre, it is necessary to take into account the circumstances of performance
