The population of this study aiming at measuring the interaction between counterproductive work behaviors and ethical leadership contains manufacturing companies, member of Ankara Chamber of Industry. The study employs survey methodology, focus group study and observation as a mixed method. Quantitative analyses made by means of structural equation modelling reveal that ethical leadership has a negative effect on counterproductive work behaviors. It is observed as a consequence of qualitative analyses that ethic as a concept is not understood, moral values of leaders are more welcomed, task-oriented ethical applications are not observed, and innovative human resource applications are required.
