In the analysis of the data gained, SPSS 22 (The Statistical Packet for The Social Sciences) was used. Before the data analysis, Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk Tests were used to see whether the data gained from pretest-posttest had a normal range or not. After seeing that it had a normal range, independent samples t-test was used for intergroup whereas paired samples t-test was used for intragroup. According to the analysis done, significance level was determined as 0.05. As a result of the study, there was no significant difference in the comparisons of pretest- posttest results between groups but there was a significant difference intragroup. Considering these results, it was observed that teaching through both educational digital games and traditional methods has become so effective in teaching word construction in Turkish lessons
