The automotive sector is a sector that has an important place among the production enterprises and is also closely related to technology. In this research, it is aimed to reveal how the supply chain and information technologies are used by production enterprises and what are the approaches related to them in global competition environment. Within this framework, a common ground has been established and the research methodology has been developed. 256 companies have been identified according to the research framework. According to the results of the research, there was a statistically significant difference between the main industry and the supplier industry in order to reduce the costs of order and supply process (p <0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the cost and product quality of the main industry and sub-industry related to electronic commerce (p> 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the opinions regarding the technological capabilities of the main industry and sub-industry (p> 0.05). The most effective way to eliminate these differences and the negativities caused by these differences in order to survive in global markets will be the management of supply chains and the effective use of information technologies in making this management.
