Archery in the Turkish cultural life, changing, evolving and enriched with military, religious and socio-cultural reasons, has created a tradition within centuries and parallel to the developments in Arabic, Persian and Turkish books and treatises about the profession, written in; this rich literature also reflected in Turkish literature especially in Turkish poetry, arrow and bow have been used for two terms. Archery that have been progressed in military, religious, literary and socio-cultural aspects of Turkish culture and grown accumulation was perceived as a cultural heritage by Turkish rulers. Turkish rulers pondering bow and arrow and have constantly applied. One of the Turkish rulers who took over and adopted this culture Qadi Burhan Al-din is a sultan who has a d?w?n and grown in Western Turkic area in the 14th century. Qadi Burhan Al-din Ahmad who a powerful statesman, scholar and also a well known Turkish poet. Sources about him, from his early age, an attitude open to learning to know and be understood. From foreign language to fiqh, hadith and tafsir, from mathematics to grammar, from prosody and literature to military, equestrian and archery worked to cultivate himself in a wide range of learning. All of this learning process, his cultural background, temperament contentious and haughty words, poems reflecting the great poet refrain, the same words, the poems of archery in the processed elements. In this study, the elements of about archery in Qadi Burhan Al-din’s Diwan had been be determined and their origin, meaning and usage areas are emphasized. In addition, two important works which are the source of Turkish archery especially language material Diwan Lugat at-Turk and ?Ilm alNu??ab was compared in terms of archery terms via Qadi Burhan Al-din’s Diwan.
