The purpose of this research is to evaluate Turkish Lesson’s Curriculum according to teachers’ opinions. For this reason, it is tried to find answer to the question of “What are the opinions of teachers about Elementary Turkish Lesson’s Curriculum”. For the research description method has been chosen. In the research, a questionnaire consisting of two parts has been used as data gathering tool. In the first part of the questionnaire there are questions about teachers’ personal information, the classes they teach and the schools they work. Moreover in the second part of the questionnaire a measuring tool prepared by the researchers has been used. This measuring tool (scale) consists of 50 items and it is a likert type with degree of five. In the scale the items ranked as “I never agree”, “I do not agree”, “I am not sure”, “I agree”. “I completely agree” have been graded as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 respectively. The study consists of first level teachers working and actively teaching classes in Çankaya and Siirt in 2007-2008 spring term. In the sampling, the teachers working in these schools have been chosen with random sampling technique. After eliminating the teachers those did not complete the questionnaire and those did not answer the questions sensitively, the data from the remaining 411 teachers has been gathered and used. In the reliability study of the gathered data, the questionnaire’ cronbach-alpha reliability constant has been found as 0.89. In the analysis of the gathered data by using SPSS 13.0 computer program; descriptive statistics, average, standard deviation, unrelated groups t-test, one-way variance analyze and from multiple comparison methods Post-Hoc LSD test have been used. The meaningfulness level has been taken as 0.05. With analyzes, it is determined that the class teachers are “undecided” about the sufficiency of the Turkish Lesson’s Curriculum.
