The Industrial Revolution is a historical turning point that has caused fundamental transformations in the social, economic and physical environment and radically changed the future of the countries. This process, which started in Europe in the mid-18th century, also influenced Ottoman Empire, but its effects were limited to the major cities in and around Istanbul. In Antalya, which was a small agricultural town, the important industrial transformations were realized within the scope of the development and modernization plans brought by the early Republican regime. In the 20th century, the vast majority of the industrial buildings built in the city were destroyed or abandoned after they lost their function. Now there are only 7 of the facilities remained among 30 from that period. These structures are forming the only industrial heritage of Antalya that it is necessary to carry out inventory studies, to conservate, to restore and to reuse them with appropriate public functions in order to transfer them to the next generations. Tekirova Mining and Processing Plant is one of the rare examples of Antalya's early Republican industrial investments and it is the first industrial plant to operate in Antalya. In this study, the historical and architectural features of this plant will be evaluated aiming this complex to take part as a value in socio-economic life of Antalya.
