Breaking out in 1914, World War I spread a large area in a short time. The Ottoman Empire went to the war together with Germany. The Battles of Gallipoli had a special importance for the Ottoman Empire, which left the war with the Armistice of Mudros on 30 October 1918. The Battles of Gallipoli were a struggle turning the lights of victory on for the state and nation and giving rise to hopes for the future. There were many factors making the struggle of Gallipoli different from the Balkan Wars and other fights taking place during the World War I. The combination of all the following factors turned the struggle into a victory: having a good leader, the manifestation of soldiers’ love of country and nation in the struggle, the always-mentioned spiritual power, power of Turkish Women keep the country existent. This study lists the factors playing a role in the victory and explains their contributions to the success. Written sources and archive documents have been used in the study.
