It is quite important to act consciously for the healthy development of the children. Parent generally can worry and engage in wrong acts in formation of gender identity of their children and they try to teach their children which gender group they belong to. This is mostly done with games and toys.The purpose of this study is to analyze the toy choice of the children in preschool period at the age of 1-5 and the effect of the parents with the worry of wrong gender selection. In this direction, “Children-Parent Identification Form” to determine the children’s stereotypes about their gender and a questionnaire developed by the researchers to determine the thoughts of the parents about the toy and game choices of the children were used in the study. The study group consists of 100 parents volunteered to participate in the study.
