A poet or an author effects by the society he/she lives, his/her social sphere, idea and the mental construct of the period, political atmosphere of the century he/she lives, religious and belief-related side no matter which literary branch he/she produces. He/she includes these elements in his/her work. As seen frequently in the traditional Divan literature, it will attract the attention of the reader while enriching the depth of the meaning of the works. Because of this reason, it benefits from historical and political people, religious leaders, opinion leaders, story heroes in poets. Especially in the tradition Divan Literature, which has religious and sufistic characters, such uses are more frequent. The names of many people were used in the Divan tradition to consolidate and embellish the expression. A variety of names in accordance with the subject of the poem took place in Divans. This implementation continued to do by Ömer Hulusi too. He attempted to use the appropriate name when appropriate. Thus, he aspired to consolidate his narrative. Ömer Hulusi mentioned plenty of names in his Divan. Seventeen of those names are the names of the Prophets. In our work, it has been tried to specify how Ömer Hulusi used the names
